Department Of Public Safety
Permits & Fees
Because most classes and student services will be offered online in Spring 2022, the College will not be issuing parking permits or collecting parking fees. Visitors to campus should still observe restricted parking areas, such as those reserved for staff or persons with disabilities, and violators are subject to enforcement.
Parking Permit Fees
Daily parking permits, which are valid on the date of purchase only, may be purchased from any of the yellow permit dispensing machines located near the entrances of the parking lots of the Fairfield campus, as well as the Vacaville and Vallejo Centers.
To purchase a parking permit, go to My Solano.
When you purchase your parking permit, be sure you are at a computer with a working printer so that you can print your temporary permit to use until your actual decal arrives in the mail. Also be sure to choose the correct semester/summer session and year when purchasing.
Parking permits are refundable if you drop your class/es and the parking permit is returned to the DPS Office no later than the refund deadline of your class/es. Be sure to check your Schedule Bill to find the refund deadline of your class/es.
Daily Parking Permits
Daily parking permits, which are valid on the date of purchase only, may be purchased from any of the yellow permit dispensing machines located near the entrances of the parking lots of the Fairfield campus, and the Vacaville and Vallejo Centers. The machines take $1 bills or coins.
Permits purchased from the machines are valid on all Solano College District properties in the student/general parking lots only. Daily permits are not permitted in reserved spaces.
If a permit machine is out of service, the purchaser must obtain a permit at another operable machine.
If the permit machine malfunctions, contact the DPS Office at 707.864.7131.
NOTE: It is your responsibility to make sure your vehicle has the required parking permit, clearly displayed, while parked on Solano College District properties.
- Permits are not transferable between parties.
- Permits must be displayed, with the semester/year and permit number clearly visible, to be valid.
- Display original permit only (no copies, notes, etc.)
