If you have registered for a Spring 2024 online course, you will be able to log into your MySolano account and access your online class by clicking on the Canvas Portal Icon.
New students will be unable to access courses in Canvas or student email until the first day of the semester. Please confirm course enrollment through MySolano.
- Please allow a few minutes, after registering for a class, for Canvas to update before trying to access Canvas.
- Some instructors will publish online courses before the start of the semester, and others will wait until the day the semester begins.
- If you are not able to access Canvas, you will need to change your password by clicking on “Find Username/Reset Password” on the MySolano Login Page. Once you have changed your password, please allow up to ten minutes for Canvas to update and then try accessing Canvas.
Spring classes will be available for students between January 13 and May 30, 2024. Late start classes will be available between March 10 and March 17, 2024. Please contact de@solano.edu or call the D.E. office at (707) 864-7127 if you have questions regarding course accessibility.
Resources for your Online Education. Click on Canvas Orientation and view all the pages listed under each module. This orientation is designed to familiarize you with Canvas and help you get started in your SCC Canvas course. Next, review Tips for Success and Canvas Demo. The link for each of these orientations is provided at the upper left of this page.
Canvas Help Resources. All Canvas help requests should be submitted to the Distance Education Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Get help by submitting a request to de@solano.edu. Call the Distance Education office at (707) 864-7127 or stop by for help as well. The Distance Education office is located on the Vacaville campus in the main building, Rm. 106, and the main campus in Building 1800, Rm. 1803.
You can also get help by checking the Canvas Student, Mobile, and Video Guides. To get help from Canvas directly, call the Canvas Support Hotline directly at 1 (844) 303-0354. The Canvas phone number can be located under Help to the left of your Canvas page, and you will also have the option to chat real time with a live person.
