IMANI Sisterhood Program

Welcome to the IMANI Sisterhood Program
The IMANI Sisterhood Program was created as a result of a Fall 2020 Racial/Equity Focus Group where students expressed their challenges of “finding and connecting with faculty from similar backgrounds and experiences”, and institutional data that identifies Black female students at Solano Community College (SCC) as a disproportionately impacted group in relation to access to resources and student retention. As a component of SCC’s Student Services Department, our goal is to decrease the equity gap Black female students experience at SCC. We officially launched in Spring 2022.
