04/22/24: SUMMER / FALL 2024 PRIORITY REGISTRATION DATE FOR VETERANS & MILITARY PERSONAL
Check your Registration time ticket starting April 1, 2024 through your MySolano account under the Student Tab.
If your registration time ticket does not reflect April 22, 2024, please complete the Priority Registration Request Form and submit it to the Veterans Resource Center.
Summer & Fall 2024 Schedule will be available to view on April 1, 2024.
The Veterans Resource Center has partnered with Rebuilding Together Solano County to provide Safe At Home Kits to all Solano Community College Veterans & Military Families who are Students, Staff and Faculty.
WHEN: Tuesday, March 26, 2024 & Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
WHERE: Solano Community College Veterans Resource Center 2700 Bldg Rm 2750 (Main Campus)
REQUIRED (All veterans & military households receiving a Safe At Home Kits):
- Driver’s License – showing Solano County address
- Military ID / VA Card or DD-214 Discharge Documentation
NOTE: Each household (i.e. address) is allowed only 1 Safe At Home Kit per year.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE KIT:
- Earthquake 4-1 Tool (gas turnoff, water turnoff, prybar and glass breaker)
- LED Lantern / Cell Phone Charger (solar / hand-crank)
- Blankets: Fire, Kaiser Permanente fleece blanket & Emergency
- Plug-in night lights
- Glow sticks
- Face shield
- Safety glasses
- Work gloves
- Emergency whistle
- Hand sanitizer & soap
- Face masks
- A set of trash bags
- Emergency information

March is Women’s History Month. Solano Community College Veterans Resources Center (VRC) will be honoring Veteran & Military Women on March 27, 2024. The VRC will be offering free chair massages, a catered lunch & a gift. Special guest Virginia Wimmer, CAL VET Deputy Secretary, Women Veterans Affairs and Air Force Retiree will be present to talk with the attendees and share information on what her department is doing for Women Veterans in California.
Chair Massages will be offered during 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. VRC staff will contact those who register for appointment time.
Lunch will be available between 11:30 am – 2:00 pm. Please select your sandwich and salad choice.
LAST DAY to register for lunch is Wednesday, March 20, 2023, by 4:00 pm.
