The benefits of group advising are cohort building, networking, and shared governance. Group advising sessions are designed to be student-centered.

Topic: College of Engineering, Computer Science, and AvenueE

• Designed for students who are interested in Engineering and Computer Science majors
• UCD offers 12 Engineering majors. All of our engineering majors are housed at the College of Engineering.
• The UCD Computer Science (CS) major used to be housed under the College of Letters and Science, but as of Fall 2023, CS has been moved to the College of Engineering.

Objectives:

• Learn about UC Davis and admissions requirements
• Network with students who are in similar majors/career interests
• Receive tips and guidance from TOP Student Outreach Ambassador(s), Coordinator(s), and guest speaker(s)

How to be ready:

• Register for the session by filling out the information below.
• Add this session to your calendar. If you cannot attend, please cancel your registration.
• Your engagement is critical to having effective group advising sessions.
• Make sure your UC TAP is accurate and reflects your academic history.
