Associate in Science
Critically Assess Data
Welcome To Engineering
Are you interested in engineering?
Do you enjoy conducting experiments?
Are you a natural born problem solver?
Looking for a dynamic and creative degree program?
Our Engineering Program is For You!
Solano Community College’s Engineering program offers a two-year lower division Engineering Program that is designed to prepare students to transfer to a four-year university. The lower division Engineering Core Courses recommended by the Engineering Liaison Committee of the State of California have been coordinated between community colleges and the four-year colleges and universities throughout California. As part of our Engineering Program, an Associate in Science Degree in Engineering is available. Although most engineering students transfer to a four-year university, those with an AS degree can also be employed in entry-level jobs that require two years of college-level science and math.
Our recent success stories!

Dan went on to earn his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and founded his own bioengineering company. Zack graduated from UC Davis, and now is a Professional Licensed Engineer, working as a project manager for Southland Industries.
