A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Bottom’s Dream. Written by William Shakespeare and Adapted and Directed by Christine Mani.

Performances run Nov 3 – 19th, 2023.

The Story: The beloved classic but with a new twist. Bottom finds his job as a weaver being “outsourced” to the American industrial revolution and ends up having a stress dream in which he finds himself in the presence of royalty, a voyeur to an extreme lovers triangle, and surrounded by fairies who either love him beyond all belief or blame him for the troubles in their midst. Add to that his co-workers (who now treat him with devotion and love that he never witnessed in the waking world) and comedy ensues from all sides.
