For our next edition to our 2022-2023 Season, Solano College Theatre is bringing you another new play, but this one addresses the body autonomy issues on everyone’s mind in the current world where Roe v. Wade was overturned. Immaculate is directed by Makali Mates, written by Oliver Lansley and performed in Solano College Theatre’s mainstage theatre. This play will give you a new look at what the immaculate conception might look like if it came about today!

THE STORY: A laugh-out-loud comic and contemporary variation on the virgin birth in which a young woman finds her life spiraling into confusion when she wakes up one morning, unaccountably pregnant.
You’re young, free and single and haven’t had sex for the last eleven and a half months, then one morning you wake up pregnant and to make matters worse the Angel Gabriel is on your doorstep claiming parentage… CONTAINS MATURE LANGUAGE.
