To provide the opportunity for faculty members to improve professional skills that will benefit the students and the District. In addition, the concept of sabbatical leaves is to provide an opportunity for the faculty member to participate in educational activities away from the District that will renew and revitalize the faculty member’s contribution to students and the District. Committee membership is per Article 11 of the CTA Contract.
