Falcon Student Pledge
Solano Community College students, faculty and staff have an important role in reducing the spread of COVID-19. The global pandemic and the risks to our community require that we each practice elevated health and safety precautions this academic year.
The Solano Community College District will be offering an increased number of essential laboratory activities, and additional face to face courses to support the success of students. The College will provide access and hands-on experience that is critical to train the next generation of industry professionals, and serve students that require face to face instruction for their educational success. To reduce the risk to our campus and surrounding communities, we ask that students join the Falcon Student Pledge to demonstrate their commitment to keeping the campus community safe. Now more than ever, it is imperative that we all share responsibility for the well-being and safety of the Solano College community as a whole.

Join the Falcon Pledge:
I understand I have an important role in reducing the spread of COVID-19 and agree to take responsibility for my actions and to do my part to keep the Solano community safe.
I pledge to:
- Wear a face covering when I have symptoms or feel more comfortable doing so… on any Solano Community College location;
- Follow state and local public health guidelines in place to help protect myself and others;
- Practice social distancing while on campus, keeping 6 feet apart wherever possible;
- Keep my hands clean and sanitized while on campus;
- Treat my peers, faculty and staff with respect and compassion, recognizing that this is a stressful, challenging time for us all;
- Modify my actions and encourage fellow students to do the same as guidelines and safety practices evolve over time;
- Monitor my health and well-being according to CDC guidelines and avoid coming to campus if I am unwell or experiencing symptoms of Coronavirus;
- If my health status changes, I will follow the college’s reporting guidelines and self-isolate if necessary.
