Common Course Numbering Coming Fall 2025
As registration for the fall semester approaches, it is important to know that some courses will have new course numbers, starting Fall 2025. This change is happening across all California Community Colleges to simplify how courses transfer.
The chart below shows which courses will have updated Common Course Numbering (CCN). If you’ve already completed a course listed on the left, there’s no need to take the updated version on the right. However, if you have one of the changing courses included in your current education plan through DegreeWorks, you’ll need to replace it with the updated course from the Fall 2025 schedule.
